The word "Pi" in this case has nothing to do with the math symbol and/or Greek letter, "Pi". π It is merely a plural of "Pus".

What is a "Pus"? Well, it's a cephalopod, like the Octopus, but a more general term.

Average Pi

Monopus or Unipus or Apus:
